About Gold Tested

Gold Tested is an independent product review publication. We buy every product we test at retail price and evaluate it under ordinary household conditions across tester homes in multiple US states.

We do not accept free products or manufacturer loaners for anything that ends up in a recommendation. Our revenue comes from affiliate commissions, disclosed on every review, but recommendations are made before any commercial consideration.

Our story

Gold Tested was built to answer a simple question: does this product actually do what the box says? Every review on this site is written by a named tester with a documented testing background — not an anonymous "editorial team."

"We test in real homes, under real conditions, and we publish the numbers even when they don't flatter the product."
